Keep down dust, and get a fresh smell
Did you know that two-thirds of the dust in your house comes from outside? Dirt tracked in on your feet, and air-bone particles create it. Dust is also comprised of dead skin cells, animal dander, hair, and fabric fibers. It's hard to avoid dusting, but there are ways to help reduce the amount. A way we would like to share today includes one simple thing; a dryer sheet.
Things Needed
Dryer Sheet (Any scent is optional)
A Vent
How To
Take a dryer sheet (whatever smell you prefer)
Remove vent cover from the wall or floor (Please use caution and work slowly. Many older vent covers can be stuck to the wall. Removing these types of vents with too much force can damage the surrounding paint.)
Place the dryer sheet over the register
Keep open or close (Leaving it open will produce a fresh smell)
Place both the dryer sheet and the register back into the vents original location (floor or wall)
If you have made it to this step, congratulations! You are on your way to a scented room and you will also keep down the dust!
