Every year, the average home collects 40 pounds of dust. This is equivalent to a 15 foot-canoe, or four large bags of potatoes. Inside of dust, are microscopic bugs called dust mites. These bugs multiply at a rapid pace and can also make you sick. It is said, that "dust mites are one of the biggest predators that live in your home"(Dr. Robert Glatter, ER at New York City's Lenox Hill Hospital).
Inside of dust are 45 toxic chemicals linked to respiratory, behavioral, and neuro-development problems. Dust is found on many home objects such as toys, mattresses, and pillows, but today we want to highlight dust found in air vents.
